New Road Hill – 13th Jan

Thames Water have been working in New Road Hill under two way lights since yesterday (Monday 11/01/2016) due to a water leak. They have just contacted LBB to inform them that the repair is greater than originally anticipated and they now need to close the road in order to complete works. Rather than causing closing the road tonigh (12th Jan), they have been asked to hold off until 09:30am tomorrow morning (Wednesday 13/01/2016). The road is expected to be closed until the end of the week and traffic will be diverted via Shire Lane, North End Lane and Rookery Road.

Westerham Road, Keston – Thursday 14/01/2016-Friday 15/01/2016

There will be tree cutting in between the junctions of Rectory Road and the entrance to private estate Holwood on Thursday 14/01/2016 and Friday 15/01/2016. Works will be taking place during off peak hours only.

On Thursday 14/01/2016, the tree cutting company will be operating under two way lights. They have more operatives on the first day of works, so will be tackling the trickier location of works first, which is close to the junction of Rectory Road (also known as the Chicken Farm Bend). We’ve restricted the operatives to only working on this area between 10:00-15:00 to minimise disruption to the peak times.

On Friday 15/01/2016, the workers will be working between Heathfield Road and the Holwood entrance under Stop and Go Boards, between the hours of 09:30-15:30.

Main Road, Biggin Hill – Monday 18/01/2016-Thursday 21/01/2016

There are kerb works to be completed at the bus stop close to Hanbury Drive on Monday 18/01/2016 until Thursday 21/01/2016. Works will be managed here under stop/go boards between 09:30-16:00 only and will be clear during peak times.
