The Biggin Hill Residents Association AGM was held on Monday 9th November 2015. There was a good turn out by local residents, it was great to see so many faces.
Ken kicked off the meeting by welcoming everyone. The committee then covered items on the agenda which included Chairman, Ken Gerry’s annual report where he covered events of the past year, and highlighted our increased media presence. He went on to introduce the current committee so faces can be put to the names. Ken especially thanked David Haslam, Life Honorary President of the committee for his contribution over the past year.
Treasurer Gordon Harris, delivered his annual report too. Gordon is sadly leaving the committee and we’d like to thank him again for his contribution over the years and wish him well in future endeavours.
There was a presentation of cheques to various community projects which BHRA have contributed to, we are proud to support our community!
The new committee were formally voted in and we look forward to continue working together to support local interests in Biggin Hill.
The AGM was followed by a update from Will Curtis on Biggin Hill Airport and a Q&A session with our local councillors and a member of the local police team.
All in all a successful evening was had, and we’d like to thank everyone again who attended.
Minutes of the event will follow in the new year
