Loss of Water Supply and low pressure

Comments Off on Loss of Water Supply and low pressure

Customers in CR0, TN14, TN16 and BR2 may be experiencing low pressure or no water since yesterday morning. This is because of high demand for water over the weekend following major disruption to our network, after a burst pipe in Bromley Common on Friday afternoon.

Throughout yesterday and today TW worked hard on solutions to return all customers’ supplies to service and successfully returned the majority of customers to supply by the evening.

We know that around 400 customers were out of supply as at 4pm today in the Betsoms area, but water is returning in that vicinity after a number of measures to help boost reservoir levels was taken.  All residents should have a supply by early this evening.

TW will continue to have bottled water stations ready for customer collection at two locations:

  1. Youth Centre, Church Road, Biggin Hill, TN16 3LB
  2. Old Ship, Tastfield, Westmore Green, TN14 7QB

Both stations will be open until around 9pm tonight, and will be open again from 6am tomorrow morning.

TW are monitoring this situation closely. If your residents have any queries please ask them to call us on 0800 3169800, quoting their address. Our lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Alternatively, they might like to contact us on Facebook or Twitter.
