I am third generation Biggin Hill resident. I grew up on a local farm and helped on the family milk round from the mid 1960s. I have worked at Biggin Hill Squash Club from 1981, taking over as Boss in 1994.

I believe in Biggin Hill as a community which is why I joined the Residents Association.

Rosemary Charleton
Secretary / Administrator
We moved to Biggin Hill 40 years ago, and at that time I was a stay-at-home mum with 2 pre-school children and a husband working in London.  I did the usual parental help at Biggin Hill primary school until I went back to office work.  Now, of course, I’m retired.

My interests are sport (but only a few specific sports), playing badminton and tennis in earlier years, reading (history, and foreign affairs), and some U3a activities, including a German conversation group.  I have been secretary of the residents association since 2021

Tony Scullion
Treasurer
I have lived in Biggin Hill for over 30 years.
When I saw that the Residents Association were looking for a new Treasurer in 2023, and having recently retired, I decided to put my name forward.

It’s been a pleasure to be involved with this organisation who are doing great things for the local community. Try it yourself!

Ian Ramage
Webmaster
Since I retired after many years of being Library IT Services Manager for Bromley Libraries, I have continued to design, build, and manage websites.

I also draw and sell pen and ink pointillist art work from my studio in Biggin Hill, and am involved with several local community groups and events.

Luan Hannaford
Publicity / Promotions
Biggin Hill has been home to my family since 2012 where I have raised my 3 children & work full time for a Dementia Charity.
I have been supporting our Residents Association since 2023 with all things ‘publicity’ to help bring news & information to our community, for the benefit of our community.
I am proud to be part of a great committee, who are working together to make our village such a great place to live. Why not ‘Join Us’ today!

Fred Saxon
Operations and Merchandising
Mum was born in Biggin Hill. Dad was in the RAF resulting in a life of travel, until visiting family and helping out at the Squash Club in the late 90s. I’m still here thanks to the Village spirit.

I have been a resident in Biggin Hill for over 50 years..so I have seen many changes to our village…and its amenities
..having recently given up work, I now have the time to ‘give-back’ to the Community that’s given me so much in the past.
I’m interested in people, animals and the environment. I’m a  member of Biggin Hill Horticultural Society & Biggin Hill Shed. I enjoy keeping fit and can be found many  times each week at our Pool doing Aquafit.
