Conservative Party – European Union Referendum Debate

Event put on by the Conservative Party –

European Union Referendum, do you understand the Fors and Againsts.

 It is the government’s plan to hold a referendum before the end of 2017 to decide if the UK should remain a member of the European Union. 

 Your local Councillors, Julian Benington and Melanie Stevens consider that such an important decision should be made with some understanding of the facts, separate from the sometimes exaggerated claims made by both sides of the Debate. 

 We have therefore arranged a Public Meeting to be held on Thursday 15^th October at 7pm at Cherry Lodge Golf Club.  The Speaker will be Syed Kamall, a long serving MEP representing the London area. He is the leader of the Conservative Group, and the wider European Conservative Group.  He is not only very experienced in the European Parliament, but also fully aware of the shortcomings and deficiencies of the European Union.

 The meeting will be Non Political, a presentation of the facts “For and Against” remaining in the European Union.

There will be a full Question and Answer session after the Presentation. If you wish to learn the facts, not just the propaganda, this is a meeting not to miss.

There will be a charge of £5 per head, which includes a complimentary drink, on arrival.
