The Leaves Green Bowmen

The Club

Leaves Green Bowmen (LGB) was formed on 6 February 1968 in the grounds of The Crown Public House, Leaves Green Road.  Due to limited shooting facilities the club moved to its current location in Jail Lane, Biggin Hill, Westerham, Kent TN16 SAX (adjacent to the Old Jail Public House) in 1976. The Club is a member of Archery GB (the national governing body for Archery in the UK), the Southern Counties Archery Society and the Kent Archery Association.

LGB is a Target Archery club shooting distances up to, but not beyond, 100 yards. Flight, Clout and Field archery are strictly forbidden on The Range due to the lack of adequate safety distances. Crossbows are also strictly forbidden on the range.

Beginners’ courses are normally April/May of each year.  Further information/pricing can be obtained from the Club Secretary.

The club currently has membership in the mid 50’s.  Membership fees are available on application to the Club Secretary.

We do not take children under the age of 11 years to shoot.  Parents will need to accompany children (under 18) when attending the club (either a beginners’ course or if they are an existing archer).
