Abuse – Support and Advice
Planning Opposition Support Fund
To support the defence of Biggin Hill against inappropriate planning applications, Biggin Hill Residents Association have launched a GoFundMe page for residents to contribute to the expense of such campaigns.
This is not about any specific campaign at the moment, but is an ongoing fund to support the community should they petition the BHRA for support. The BHRA stand ready to receive any request from the Biggin Hill Community.

Bromley Council Snow Friends
Snow Friends are local people organised by Bromley council who volunteer to clear snow and ice in their street within a Snow Friends group led by a Snow Friend coordinator.
Help keep your street free of snow and ice by becoming a Snow Friend.
In addition to the 280 miles of priority routes that Bromley Council’s winter service gritting crews treat, you could play an important part in keeping the borough moving by supporting this work in residential side streets which are not part of this operation.

Important announcement
As 2025 draws to a close, the BHRA thoughts are now turning to 2026 and some very important changes within our community. Firstly, you may be aware that our local Councillor Sophie Dunbar who has recently announced her move to the Biggin Hill Conservative team, joining forces with Philip Hatch for the upcoming local elections due to be held on 7th May 2026. We will also be saying goodbye to our Biggin Hill Independent Councillor Melanie Stevens who will be retiring after 12 years of service and we thank her for all her hard work on behalf of the Biggin Hill Community.
As a Residents Association, we are a non-political organisation and as such will not be able to support any party or candidate in the lead up to next years election. Notwithstanding this, individual committee members will be free to support any candidate of their choosing as a Biggin Hill resident and will do so in line with our constitution. Therefore, any activity of our committee members during this time of change, will be their personal choice and not representative of the BHRA.
We will be inviting all candidates to a Hustings at a future date, where voters can hear their views, debate policies and answer some of the questions from our Biggin Hill community.
We have an exciting time of change ahead and we look forward to working alongside our successful Councillors in the future.
